Trouble Shooting on A Shoot -- Nothing eclipses MZInc’s efforts to meet a client deadline

Challenge
While shooting a fashion catalog for client, New Port News- Spiegel, in Toronto, Canada, MZInc was faced with the once in a century challenge of a lunar eclipse. The eclipse occurred right in the middle of the shoot, creating not only a loss of light, but also a dramatic plummet in temperature lasting the next few days! The loss of light and frigid temperatures threatened to delay the project for several days. At $10,000 a day in expenses and a looming deadline, it was not a delay that their client or the agency could afford.

Solution
MZInc had built a reputation for going above and beyond for their clients. In this case, going above and beyond meant arranging for specialized lighting equipment, renting a tent and heaters for the freezing models, hiring additional photography assistants, and working into the wee hours of the morning in order to finish the shoot according to schedule.

Having connections worldwide is important. It means that MZInc is able to respond quickly and effectively even when things don’t go as expected. Having an agency committed and equipped to do whatever it takes to help you reach your goals is a bright spot in anyone’s day.
