The challenge was to highlight some aspect of the Horace Mann experience that would stand out, promoting both the individual program and Horace Mann itself.
Solution Horace Mann’s honors photography group proved to be the ideal vehicle to not only showcase the students’ photographic art, but also to brand Horace Mann as a school that develops and brings out the best in its students. For the last five years, MZinc. has designed and produced a custom publication entitled Highlights, that features the best of the student photography, some of which is of a professional quality. The publication not only demonstrates the talents of the students and strength of the program, it also defines Horace Mann in the mind of readers as a learning institution that gives individual attention to its students, providing them with the tools they need to fully develop and blossom. It is this reputation for individual nurturing that distinguished the client from other schools in its class.
